Tuesday: 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm Liberty Square Courthouse, 10622 Buckley Hall Road. Mathews, VA.
Join local members of Indivisible.org at 4:30 pm in front of the Liberty Square Courthouse buildings.
We collect food for the Hands Across Mathews Food Bank at each rally. Please bring canned fruit/vegetables, condiments, Depends, pet food, and canned chicken to the next protest.
Bring a sign, bring a friend, and be peaceful. Use the "No Tyrants" theme to make a new sign. Or carry the Virginia flag. But any sign that expresses opposition to what the Trump administration is doing is fine.

Our region and its communities are distinctly defined by our water. Our future here is directly tethered to the water resources under significant threat right now. Wells are running dry, concerns are being raised about how commercial fishing operations are impacting our Bay, and the potential for data centers could introduce new water issues.
Every community deserves the opportunity to come together, discuss the available information, and consider how they'd like to approach these threats.
The goal of this town hall is to share information and offer the opportunity for community members to engage with, be heard by, and ask questions of leaders and neighbors. We are committed to fostering civic engagement and maintaining a focus on the topics of this Town Hall.
We will have a panel of speakers including local folks and others who have been engaged on our regional water issues. Thank you to Tyree Smith, Chief Anne Richardson, David Helmes, Tim Cywinski, and Andrew Roberson for joining us to share their insights and engage in this conversation.
We will have light refreshments, information to take home, calls to action for those who are motivated to stay involved, and opportunities for you to share your thoughts both during and after the event.
